The current directive, Security Directive Pipeline-2021-02G, took effect May 3, 2026 and runs through May 2, 2027. We build and maintain the documentation and controls behind it.
SEC Cyber-Disclosure Rules
If you’re a publicly traded E&P or midstream company, you now have to report a material cybersecurity incident on Form 8-K, Item 1.05, within 4 business days of deciding it’s material. Those rules took effect September 5, 2023. We give you the detection and forensics that let you make that call quickly and defensibly.
NIST, CISA, and CIRCIA
Federal frameworks increasingly expect NIST Cybersecurity Framework alignment and rapid incident reporting for critical infrastructure. We map your environment to them so an audit is a formality, not a fire drill.
Texas adds 2 more rules. Business and Commerce Code 521.053 gives you 60 days to notify affected Texans after a breach, and 30 days to tell the Attorney General when 250 or more residents are involved. SB 2610, in effect since September 1, 2025, shields a business with fewer than 250 employees from punitive damages in a breach lawsuit if it had a recognized cybersecurity program running before the breach.
